The person for this position will be responsible for:
- Responsible for Direct Parts for Variable Cam Timing (responsible commodity to be allocated.)
- Suppliers management in terms of performance (Quality, Cost, Delivery), financial condition, capacity readiness etc.
- RFQ ~ quote analysis/negotiation ~ Contribution to the best costed BOM creation
- Supplier sourcing ~ contract management
- New suppliers development (Low Cost Country, Localization etc)
- Negotiation and Achievement of sustainable cost reduction from responsible suppliers
- Cross functional collaboration
- Collaborate with Global Supply Chain Management team and other regions facilities
- Supply Chain tool operation (SAP, Issuing Purchase Order, Spend and Cost reduction DATA etc)
- Suppliers visit
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum + 2 to 3 years of experience as Purchasing Specialist in an international production company (Strongly preferred in the automotive industry)
- Computer Savvy (DATA handling, Analysis, Microsoft)
- English Skill - Intermediate to Advanced (communication, email)
- International Cross-culture experience (preferred)
- SAP knowledge (Preferred)
- High Communication/Negotiation/collaboration skill with internal/external stakeholders.
- Positive attitude to learn and challenge new, to inform and listen to people
